כדי למקסם את התוצאה בשיער יש להניח מהשמפו ביד ולפתוח את החומר טוב בשתיי ידיים, למרוח היטב על שיער רטוב ולהוסיף קצת מים, לעסות היטב את הקרקפת והקצוות ולחכות מספר דקות. לאחר מכן, יש למרוח מהמסכה מקו האוזן ומטה ולחכות בין 7 – 15 דק’ ולסרק היטב את השיער כדי להחדיר את החומר. יש להשתמש באמפולה כטיפול משלים של פעם בשבוע או לשלב אותה יחד עם המסכה בתוך האמבטיה.
