Our Story
Every groundbreaking innovation begins with a surprising discovery. Our story started when Lohei, the founder of the company, uncovered an ancient secret during a business trip to the East. As the manager of a shoe store chain, Lohei was used to flying to the East in search of new collections. But on one trip, an unexpected tour of remote villages led to a discovery that would change her life—and the world of hair care.
In these villages, Lohei witnessed a breathtaking sight: women with hair measuring an astonishing one and a half meters in length—healthy and shiny. These were the women of the “Long Hair Tribe,” who later even earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest hair in the world. Driven by natural curiosity, Lohei embarked on an in-depth investigation into their ancient secret: rice water.
What began as a discovery soon turned into a personal journey when Lohei decided to try this ancient remedy on her daughter, Yuli, who suffered from problematic hair, hair loss, and split ends. After numerous experiments with different concentrations of rice water, she succeeded in cracking the perfect formula—a breakthrough that earned her a unique patent.
Lohei’s impressive success led her and Yon to establish Lola Lin—a brand that has become synonymous with innovation in the world of hair care. Together with their eldest daughter, Yuli, they built a family business committed not only to professional excellence but also to values of integrity, quality, and personalized service.
